Kittys Camping Facilities

At Kittys Cosy Camping we want to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. We provide you with full kitchen facilities and a relaxing and comfortable outdoor communual area to socialise in.

Full Kitchen Facilities

 

Kitty's Cosy Campsite has a fully equipped kitchen which can facilitate everyone onsite. The kitchen has everything you need. Two fridges inside and a gas cooker. The kitchen is located right next to the sheltered communal area where you can relax and socialise on those rainy days. Inside the communal area, there is multiple seating areas, with a stove. A dining table which can fit 6 people for a nice family meal.

There is also a fridge/freezer outside to facilitate campers.

Outside there is a fire pit and barbecue available and we can arrange wood for a small fee. There are plenty of seating areas outside, multiple picnic tables. Outside is lit up with solar fairy lights so you'll never lost. There is a beautiful magical feeling and atmosphere within the campsite and in the local area.

Bathroom/ Shower Facilities
​

Two toilets are available on site. With a hand basin and hot water. The toilets are asian style. We are eco minded as we harvest the rain water, so toilets need to be flushed using a bucket of water. Its quirky but it works totally fine. Toilets are checked regularly throughout the day.

Hot showers cost 1 euro = 4 mins

Cold shower free

The Shower/ Steam room is beautiful. Good water pressure and temperature.

Please note at busy times this area may need to be utilised on a rota and we ask guests to be mindful of their fellow campers! At busy times please clean up as you go along. 

​

There are two very friendly dogs on site who also like to meet and greet. If you bump into them don't be afraid. 

​

If you need to bring a pet, please ask prior to booking. 

​

Things To Do

There is some very special places in the local area all within a 15 min drive of the campsite. 

  • Beaches: Flaggy Shore, Bishops Quarter and Traught but our most favorite place of all is Lough Bunny

  • New Quay - a beautiful walk along the atlantic overlooking Galway Bay onto Barna & Spiddal. Just around the corner from Linnanes Bar & Resteraunt and Russel's Gallery. 

  • Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory and Cafe. 

  • Eagles Rock & the Burren National Park. 

  • Beautiful little village of Carron and the Burren Perfumery. 

  • Aillwee Caves & the Birds of Prey show which the kids really enjoy. 

  • The Burren Nature Sanctuary. A petting farm for all kids to enjoy. 

  • During the Summer, There is a Farmers Market every Friday Morning.
